Edited by: Jozef Meurtrier on 14/07/2006 07:51:46 Star Kingdom of Manticore (RMN) vs Chimaera Pact Alliance (CHIMP)
-Three months ago, RMN made deal with CHIMP. RMN will have mining rights in B-R5RB (Immensea) and can have one POS here. Payments will be made in advance, every 14 days. -One week ago, new CHIMP management decided to use B-R5RB system on their own and informed RMN about it. Both sides agreed that RMN presence will be finished on July 13th, as contract was still payed and valid. -Four days ago, CHIMP leadership made merger offer to RMN in case we want to stay in region. As RMN members were satisfied as part of IAC alliance (IAC and CHIMP were for months NAP), they decided to stay. -Yesterday, July 13th, last day of RMN presence in B-R5RB. Remaining ships were loaded with minerals and stuff and prepared to final transport. *9:30 Eve time, there were CHIMP, RAIDS and one RMN member on local. RMN member leaved system moving industrial ships to ISS Marginis. RMN POS shield was online, only corp members allowed, no password set. *10:30 Eve time, RMN member returns to B-R5RB. All ships stored inside forcefield were missing. Battleships, HAC, Force Recons, large barges, other small ships and one Hulk, loaded with almost all minerals mined in last month. RMN estimates loss in 3-4B. *CHIMP suddenly closed communications with RMN and set it KOS. One of missing ships was found in CHIMP POS, risen one day ago. It was not renamed by mistake. RMN has snapshot of it.
Conclusions: If you planned to buy Mining Rights in 0.0, never ever do it with CHIMP. If you thing you are 4 months blue to CHIMP, you are paying them for your presence and you can leave ships on your POS without shield password on, think twice.
RMN corp was robbed some months ago. Kiwi corp thief moved 5-6B value out of POS. From this time, RMN was accepting strictly Czech and Slovak new players to eliminate corp theft. As some of RMN members believe, this time was used an exploit to take our ships outside of shield and GM were not able to solve case, they are deeply sad. If CHIMP is pleased to make other players sad, this time they did it perfectly.
Signed, Jozef Meurtrier, Star Kingdom Of Manticore.

Do not trust anyone in this game.
Sorry about the loss though, but it does make a Corp/Alliance stronger in most cases.

It would seem they figured the contract was up. Was a time agreed for the RMN pull-out? Or did they just took 14 days since the last payment as the end of the contract? In any case, going by your version only of course, it sounds pretty lame.

Sorry not in game to check at the minute Does this mean you are members of IAC?

If the answer to my first Question is a yes and you are a member of IAC I suggest you ask in your Alliance chat and you may find the answers there.

It was our last day there, almost all structures were dismantled. My corpmate, who always logged off in Hulk tried to do something useful, moved cheap industrials and leaved Hulk on POS, loaded with all minerals. And this act did not made us strongers allies anymore. Definitely.

Thanks.
To the OP I think you need to ask in Alliance channels and someone should be able to explain why this has happened.
Or failing that possibly look for other posts in this section to explain things if you are not in game atm.

In the deep night from july 12-th to july 13-th, there was some incident between IAC members and LV members. LV instantly declared war on IAC. In the morning of july 13-th, CHIMP was blue to RMN and RMN was blue to CHIMP and CHIMP did not made any statement about any change. Only after they made acquisition only brave warrior can be proud of, they decided to change their mind. And Yes, july 13-th was the last day RMN was paying CHIMP for their presence in B-R5RB.

That would be the incident where IAC shot an LV pilot that showed blue to them. So IAC shoots a NAPed pilot and its an incident.
Are you 100% sure your NAP with CHIMP was in Place after the LV incident? It might be worth checking on that.
I suggest you contact a CHIMP representative in game I have found that evemail request for a convo is the best method with CHIMP they are usually prompt in responding (if they are online that is).

We are waiting for their response here, best from Mr. Galde itself. He was supervising movement of ships.

Instantly?
IAC shoots blue targets then denies compensation request after the friendly fire towards PVP alliance. Somehow it is expected that the other entity goes into corner and lick its wounds?
Also I find it kinda intresting that after declaration of hostilities from CHIMP in your own alliance thread on these forums regarding this war - you expect them to treat you as friendlies? I think it was quite nice for them to allow you to escort your stuff out without firing. I would have not. Politics are sometimes really confucing. --

As you are part of an Alliance it should be a IAC v CHIMP thread and I am just trying to explain a possible reason why they MAY have acted this way.
And the responses came in response to you posting negative comments on a long standing ally of ours.
Are IACs also dictating to LV when and when not to post now?

Got spin?
IAC ****ed LV of by engaging in the ol blue on blue tomfoolery.
CHIMP, as a consequence I assume, attacked IAC. Why the ppl running the POSes thought that they would somehow be exempt from this war is frankly beyond me. -

Whatever LV forum team might want to post in this thread (which is not really about LV, believe it or not), careful consideration of facts in the OP shows CHIMP to be guilty of theft and breach of contract, possibly under a pretext of newly arisen hostilties LV->IAC, but that even that pretext seems to be flimsy, at best.
Yes, it was very unwise to leave POS without the password. The ethical and business sides of the story are not affected by that, though.
I have no personal interests vested with RMN or IAC (in fact, I think that very same POS blew up my cov ops a while ago due to my piloting error :) ). I just dislike dishonest behaviour in people, and especially so on corp/alliance level.

Intresting that vice president of IAC tells the original poster to stop it and next time contact inside alliance before posting into public forum. Then he edits his post and calls it "unintentional".
